I have been considering buying a new marker, the tippmann x7 phenom is among my top contenders, but I want to go beyond normal and make it an ACR (Adaptive Combat Rifle) mod. I have seen threads in other forums of people that have done this so I am not the first one and defenetly not the last one that will atempt this. My problem is that I have never tried to make a mod out of a marker, Ive always bought the pieces from manufacturers and just put them on my markers without any modifications to the pieces themselves. Now I have found the ACR stock actually made for the x7 so that is one less thing to worry about, but I still have to go through modifying the handguard to fit it on the x7 and also somehow fitting a p-mag in the magazine well. Like I said before, I am a mod noob and I need help. Any ideas?

Here is where I am planning to get the parts from:

Handguard & P-Mag (Scroll down to "ACR Tri-rail handguard", "P-Mag")

Buttstock

If there is anybody that makes ACR parts for the X7 please lemme know!

Well the PMAG is the same as the run of the mill NATO 30rnd mag just with a brand name attached so as long as they got the dimensions right one the X7 AWWWWW...

They probably didn't get the dimensions right on the X7. :(

Sorry dude, I got nothin over here.

I decided to surrender and not go for a magazine fed marker due to the fact that I have previously owned one and it was great besides the fact that the magazines helped chop paintballs and if a paintball breaks in the magazine is a pain in the butt to open it, clean it and put it back together so im going to go for a hopper this time.

Might as well wait on Mag fed anyway lol, rap4 sure is

If you don't already have one, a dremel is about to become your best friend with modding at home.

As for the handguard, you may be able to find a way to use setscrews to hold it to your barrel if you don't mind marking it up a bit. Or maybe make up a couple little pieces that uses the screw holes for the rail on the side or top of the X7 and the rail to hold it on. You could fit something on the other end (front) between the guard and barrel (like a gargoyle uses) so it won't wobble around.

I found out Engler makes an ACR mod for the Phenom so I will probably save myself the time and headache buy getting it from them.
