U R A GENIUS!!!!!!!!
Anyway, i was looking at these, and i wonder what would happen if didn't completely fill them with paint, and filled the rest with something fizzy. That way you could shake the grenade to build up pressure to spray the stuff out when you throw it. (although it would probably get sticky, and also would havfe to be done pretty fresh too.....).
Yeah, that's just my dumb idea.
I'll have to try making some of these though.
Hey man you know that this is kinda how airsoft grenades work? You hit a puchpin and 2 liquids combine and make a chemical reaction. And then the soft plastic blows up along with 1000 pellets. So yea, it should work. Ya need soft plastic though. Don't want shrapnel now do you?

I played a game about a week ago and finally got around to cleaning my camos. In the last game, I gave out grenades to everyone who played. Well, I let one guy borrow a set of BDU's and he apparently never took the grenade out of his pocket So, I'm doing my laundry and throw all the paintball stuff in. Lo and behold when I opened the washer back up when it was all done, there was a bright yellow grenade sitting in the washer! Nothing was out of place and no paint leaked out! Good thing I washed the stuff on cold....

If your still looking for a syringe go to your local hardware store and get a marinater. Its a giant syringe with a long needle thing. I just cut the needle down to a managable lenght and went from there.
When I used the 3/8 washers it took a couple of tosses to get it to blow. The 7/16 went off much easier.
Anouther reason not to use oil based paints is they will deteriorate the latex pretty quikly causing a bit of a mess.
Edit: Just realized why 3/8 was so tight. I missread and thought you where using 1/2 washers not 3/8. Oh well, with the 3/8 I've found you can bounce them off of walls to get them around corners with out exposing your self.
