What good is it to be fully ghillied when your gun is exposed and giving the opfor a clear indication to your position? Your gun should always be camo'd be it paint or rifle wrap.

I don't think that it is as important as body camo because it is such a small target compared to the body but it defenily comes in second place. If you are in bdu or something like that it isn't as important but if you are going ghillie then you would be stupid not to.

Wohoo 100 posts yeah I feel so special.

black guns are fairly easy to see in woods. Not as easy as spyders or flashy shockers but they still can be seen. THeirs a article on the spec ops website describing hte benifits of a camoed gun.

i jsut use a jet black pistol, and it has a termendously small profile (pointing at someone, its about an inch wide, 6" tall) so i never give it thought.. it has yet to cause me any kindof trouble

Gun camo IS cheaper because its less area to cover. In any case, it is very important because that 'bush' with a gun sticking out of it is gonna get shot at regardless if they can see YOU.

I think all guns are smaller than your body . . .

gun camo or camo in general is not really needed if you want to be a sniper, you just need the patience and the skills

whether your gun is black silver or shining red, i can always spot a gun before a mask. if your going to go camo make sure you've got FULL camo, or else it throws everything off, ive seen some pretty nice looking camo jobs done with tape.

I think that the body camo is more important than than the gun camo but gun camo is still important. Even more if you have a shinny gun that will stick you out like a fat guy in an elevator

I would say make your body camo first. It still is the most important area to cover, due to its size. Then make your gun camo to get the ultimate in concealment.

Its pretty simple, follow what the military does.... If you do this chances are your doing it right... The snipers camo thier guns, so prty much it works.... Plus its not that hard
