I'm not sure of the profile I'm gonna use for the pump handle yet. If I'm going to go utilitarian like a shot gun pump, or decorative like a baluster. Or some where in the middle..

Man, I wish I had a box of Nelson to kitbash... I can only do that with 'cockers. (Who can't?)

Mine's gonna have one little trick, though, that I doubt's been done before. That one trick is my entire purpose for being in this 'contest'.
Feedback.

Thinking maybe one of these (leaning more towards the stock'ish pumps)
#2 or #5

So it'll be the SC feed block, Feed Gate, ^ pump and a late addition butt plate for the T-stock.

So because I play scenarios, I won't buy a high-end unless it has rails at useless angles, and has a machine-gun shroud bolted on it?-Maduce

Just started mine:

Run all the parts off the lather then touch them up afterwards with dremel work.
Pump arm is next, probably going with a stock phantom style. Simpler to offset for the barrel and not worry about boring through the side due to mis alignment.

Looks a little light but will finish like the grips on the left. After all they're from the same chunk.

Walnut, looks really light after coming of the lathe. Came from the hunk posted on pg one, along with that grip panel above

very nice im looking forward to seeing this final result. dark stain or light?

just a little shellac (like the grip panel), then burnishing (rubbing with second chunk of wood to compress outer fiber layers) then a coat of clear urethane. Burnishing will leave a slick reflective finish, urethane will add depth.

Speaking of which:
