Most of the guys are saying the girls should wear protection and most of the girls say they don't wear protection.

A chest protector is definately going to be a personal choice and it's going to be influenced by her perception of the game,by her sensitivity levels and, to some degree, the time of the month.

I know that there are times where I can't even look at my wife's chest she that sensitive and sore.

Whether she wears a protector or not, a field SHOULD have them available. Just because a woman can handle the discomfort of a paintball doesn't mean they want the bruises in that area.

I agree, my statement is based on the comments I've read here from the men and the women that play. I could see a field having chest protectors on hand for males and females that request them.

Kind of an old thread, but I thought I would chime in. I wear a padded bra with a sports bra over it. That way I get the support and padding. I tried a chest protector, but it felt too bulky. I've been shot in the boob a few times and it's not that bad with what I wear.

Female groin protector? I don't think they make those. :D

Something you guys might want to consider are fencing chest protectors. Women are required to either wear 2 metal cups which slide into the inside chest part of the jacket, or a chest protector which covers the chest and a couple inches below. It's made of some kind of flexible plastic/polycarbonate, I'm not sure. But that should be fairly easy to find online.

Actually, they're called a pelvic protector but that is for hockey.

They are used in Karate, Boxing, and any other full contact sport and yes they are called female groin protectors. Ask a girl who is in a full contact sport, she should know. I know this because my niece is in Karate.

You may not have heard of them, but I'd like to see a guy wear this a say it's not specificly for a female.

It may sound ridiculous; a friend of mine played with a life preserver to protect her...self.

Good 'nuf if you don't play often to warrant the purchase of a chest protector.... but also if you don't go boating enough either... egh.

ARMORED BIKINIS!

I'm just playing around, but you gotta admit, that would be prettty amazing, eh?

In all seriousness, some chest protection would be a good idea, try a sports store.

My girlfriend just plays. Never worn anything special besides a sports bra... and she has taken hits everywhere any guy has. It just takes a special breed of girl to get out there, take one in the boob, and keep on going.
