A-5 E-Grip W.A.S Equalizer Board Troubleshooting
Posted 14 March 2007 - 06:28 AM
Here's my problem, I can be on 3 SHOT RAMPING MODE, 3 SHOT FULL AUTO MODE, AUTO RESPONSE or TURBO and if my trigger isn't pulled all the way back/hard my A-5 will go start shooting rounds like if it was in full auto and wont stop untill I kill the power source (very dangerous I might add) i'm happy I wasn't on the feild when this started to happen. Only SEMI AUTO is not afected by this.
- Read the owners manual many times.
- PERFORMED A COMPLETE RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS
- Asked around at my local feild for advice
Now, this is my last resort before I have to call tippmann.
Thanks for your help and your time,

Not an uncommon problem to pinch the wire - but it usually ends up breaking the board connection.

What is most likely occuring is the trigger is bouncing on the switch causing it to register another trigger pull even if the trigger only moves a fraction of a mm. By bending the Leaf it increases the amoun the trigger needs to be pull(from rest) to make the marker fire. Small adjustments with the leaf's pitch here make a big difference.
