Well, someone had to say it. The best gun ever.. period is the Dye DM4 series with the tadao chip and stock with the ultralight barrel. This gun is accurate as all heck and quick. It is perfect to lay down suppressing fire to cover an escape or to have your team assault. I love this thing!!!!!!

I'm sure more people would get them if it wasnt for the disadvantages that follow. You cant run or shoot without both your amrs and legs...

Well, I know not everyone would agree with you, but I certainly do. The Matrix series (Matrix, DM4, DM5, Proto) are one of only a few unique markers in the market place. Most markers work on the same premise with different styling.

Really, most high-end markers are very similar to a Spyder without springs. The most common electropnuematic marker has a bolt pinned to the hammer, which stikes a valve pin, which releases gas through the bolt to propel the ball. Angel, Bushmaster, BKO, Nerve, Impulse, Ego, Intimidator, etc, etc, etc, all work on the same principle. They may name their parts differently, but those parts serve the same purpose.

Only markers like the Mag, Freestyle, Shocker, and Matrix series operate on a totally different premise (Shocker is a copy of the Matrix design).

The only complaint I have with the DM4 is gas efficiency. But people have been able to fix that with about 3 cents worth of electrical tape (ghetto tape mod).

I bought a DM4 when they first came out, sold it after a knee surgery, bought an Angel to play with during rehab, sold it for an Intimidator, and then bought another DM4 when I decided nothing could compare. I have the Timmy sitting in my bag, but I choose my DM4 every single time. LOVE it!!!

I'm kinda partial to my warp-feed E-mag, which suits my game perfectly. It's all a style and feel thing, what's best for you isn't best for me. I mean, some guys swear by their A5's, I find them too long. It's what you like.

That being said... I like my setup, and it pwnzorz your... umm.... something...

The DM4 is truly a paint laying machine. I have never shot one, but the videos of them on the net are awesome.

LOL.

I, too, am partial to the DM4. Does anybody know what's so special about the DM5? Why is it better?

I mean... If I'm going to spend thousands of dollars on a marker, it'd gonna be a DM4/5. I dunno why, I'm just not a fan of Angels or Timmys.

:D ...how can u say that lol my friends have angels they spend more time fixing it than shooting it...thats why when u see angels on ebay that say "only been shot a couple time" they want a more reliable gun...and when me and my friends go to the local field i end up playing about 10 games (there not too long) they normally play about 3 because there so tied up with their marker
