oh noes!! :(

were did you say you found yours??

I bought mine from a local building maintenance supplier. Here is their web page.

The first item IF1010

The web page says it's from CertainTeed but the material I got by visiting their store is from Corning. It shouldn't matter.

Nicely done!

I was reading through all of the comments, and I just don't understand where any misinformation is given. The ATF report is pretty straight forward. The reason why it is legal isn't because it doesn't work, (looking at it I can nearly guarentee it will lower the sound), it's because it doesn't fit the common definition of a silencer. A silencer has an outer shell to trap gas, and is fabricated. This is commercially available, and all you need to do is paint it.

Heck, it prob would work on a firearm if you could attach it, however since it isn't fabricated it isn't illegal. Like was said, it would be as if they outlawed pillows or soda bottles because "they are silencers"
