So I just tested out my A-5 with my newly mounted sight and Tapco Offset. The sight came with Weaver mounts so I had to mount it on the lower rail, making it completely on the side of the gun. This is all fine and dandy besides the fact that your sight rests against your body when you're using a sling. Well, I guess this would only affect right-handers, but anyhow... I love using my sling, especially since I run remote, but now that I've got the sight on the left side of my gun, I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard spot. I can continue using the sling, and risk damaging the sight, or I can quit using my sling altogether. Ugh! Besides that though, I do really like the sight mounted off to the side of the gun. I'd give the Offset Mount a B+ rating.
