we all know that opsgear has come out with its saw shroud for the a-5, and if you don't *si* you've been under a rock.

So whos got it, and if so how is it for 110 bucks

I use one its rock solid and I love it, not as heavy as you would think but weight is more an eye of the beholder thing. I'll definitely be hanging onto mine for awhile.

It says here in the little paragraph describing it that it's compatible with any Opsgear fixed or folding stock, so I'd assume most stocks altogether would fit.

I've got one with a m249 stock on it , an it looks sweeeeet.....I've also got an 18 " sniper barrel on it and it shoots straight as an arrow. I've got a 400 round hopper on it and an E-trigger too, Loud though

Couple of corrections needed.

1- It's a MK 46/48 Shroud.. not a M-249 Shroud. The MK 46 & 48 are the new special forces versions of the Old M249.. They look alot different and are the upgraded SAW weapons.

2-.. it's a SAW stock.. not a M249 Stock.. There are over 7 versions of a SAW.. not just the most known M249.

3- the Opsgear MK shroud is very nice.. not as heavy as it might seem and it's very well made.

4- All depends on the player.. if your used to Ion's and speedball type guns that weight half a lb..and you think tippmann's are heavy stock.. then this kit is not for you.

if your a heavy gunner and carrying about 8 to 10 lbs doesn't bother you then this is an awesome kit. it intimidates and awe's like crazy. Combine it with a Opsgear barrel and a dishka.. and it turns heads with how loud it is.

I saw a pic in the broadsword marker gallery that showed an A-5 with the SAW shroud (or MK 48 as RPGDAWG would say) and the saw stock. Hpoe that helps.
