Tippmann says you can field strip an X7 in under 60 sec. Is field stripping taking the marker apart entirly, or is it just taking off the shroud, barrel, and grip fram?

I believe field stripping is just the main portion, meaning the bolt, valve, and important internals. That's what I always thought.

Yep, That includes pretty much everything. Obviously you won't be able to take EVERYTHING off but all of the main parts.

Yeah, i'v hade it for a while, I'v acctully been playing paintball for a little over 12 years now. I'v just never realy understood if field stripping was tacking the whole gun apart or not. It's damn near impossible to take the whole thing apart in under a min. so i thought i'd ask.

It is marketing, after awhile you'll be able to field strip it inn 60 seconds, but right now you'll be hard pressed to strip it that fast.

The main problem you may face is sliding the internals out. If your internals have been polished its much easier. I can strip my marker in 20 seconds(this includes everything exept the reciever halves and the cyclone parts).

The Phantom takes like .5 seconds and you don't even have to take the Automag apart! Lol, just dunk it under some water.

takes me about 5 minutes for an automag and a phantom, and there is only 2 screws for each!

60sec for a x7 that doesnt sound right

Like I said it is marketing an experianced user of this gun can do it in 60 seconds the new user can do it in 2-3 minutes.
They didn't want to say it takes that long to field strip it though.
