At first, I wore it under my BDU, just for some extra "bounce insurance", as soon as the match ended, I took off my BDU jacket, and instantly felt the crazy ventilation go to work on me. It was like a cool breeze was blowing through my jersey, a very refreshing experience. Then, the next game, I couldn't see a thing because of my JT WalMart mask, so I was pulling myself up with a tree, still blinded by the fog, and shots ring out, all of which hit my armpit, not one of them broke, they all bounced off, it was incredible.
Then, I decided try out the Dyetack, little rubber ridges embedded along the elbow, shoulder, and lower back, for steadying your tank, and pod pack. So, my tank, very slippery on the rest of the jersey, instantly gripped to the shoulder, like glue, or a sticky floor. It held in place suprisingly well, which came in handy as I didnt have my BDU on, or my tank cover.
The padding is a nice addition, the fabric on the inside is smooth and soft, very comfy, and the padding is hardly noticable unless you're sliding with your shins on the ground, and it works great, even on dried dirt and mud. I love it.
So, if you're looking for a great jersey, get a C5, they look good, they feel good, they are good, and they run for about $30 on ebay.
