I have been looking for a side arm over a year now. And the more that I look the harder it becomes to find a sidearm. Spec ops is completely sold out of pistols. warsensor is sold out of pistols are are not making more. Action village no longer sells um. I have looked for a while to get a zeus g2 or a overlord and all of them are sold out at retail stores. i would have no problem getting a tac 8 if it was not twice the price of its compeditors. I just dont know what to do. Does any one have some suggestions.

wait. tippmann is coming out with one in october i believe.
If you want a tac 8 check the buy-sell-trade section of the forum in mechanical markers.
should be about to find one cheaper there.

I have a couple of new RAP4 T-68's that I bought and never used...prefer my Tac-8.

Otherwise, look at RAP-4 for "inexpensive" side arms.
Death is just a passage...so bring more paint!!!

The best pistol is the Miltec G2. You'll be better off with one of these than a Tac8. Truth be told, the Tac8 is rather poor. It doesn't aim right. I owned one, and sold it for a Zeus.

Palmer's Pursuit Shop still custom makes their pistols. They're really nice, but they do come at a price.

Squalls are too heavy. I'll put it this way: I wouldn't even think of pistol wielding my Typhoon sans hopper, and it doesn't have a springfeed on top. Even with a slightly shorter barrel, it's got the springfeed which makes it even heavier. Squalls aren't a pistol so much as a carbine.

I was at Palmer's shop yesterday and I didn't mind the weight. They place the ram and rock further back than on Typhoons so it isn't so front heavy. Then again I don't really fire any pistols one handed. A Strokerized PGP would be a little more ideal.

There are seriously tons of stores selling pistols.

In that link you'll find links to dozens of stores. Just as an example, it shows 44 retailers with tac8's currently, and 13 stores with the Warsensor Zeus G2 in stock. You just weren't looking hard enough.

agreed. I love em. I have fired a few squalls, always loved em. They aimed just fine for me. :P

The Ariakon Overlord RX is still very easy to find, and I prefer it to the Zeus. It is dramatically better than the original Overlord. Just google it or check ebay and you will find them all over for less than $150.
