I logged onto facebook this morning, and saw a new update from Tippmann. They have another marker coming out! This time its a collabaration between tippmann and US army paintball, just like the Alpha Black. I had heard some scuttlebut that it might be a cheaper version of the X7, but heres the offcial info.

"Last week Tippmann launched the TPX Paintball Pistol; next week U.S. Army Paintball has something new.

Just to peak your interest, this new marker is:
· Customizable, upgradable and affordable
· Durable, reliable and of course, made by Tippmann
· What the scenario player wanted next from U.S. Army Paintball

Here are just a few of the comments from some of the players that have seen this new marker…

This marker is going to turn some heads. I believe this marker is taking customization to the next level. With the huge popularity of Military First Person Shooters like Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and Ghost Recon, this is the look players have been waiting for.

That looks AMAZING! A lower-priced marker that can be modded almost limitlessly? I can’t imagine why Tippmann won’t sell a million of them!

Wow! Another head-turner so quickly. Visually very impressive. A great way to draw new players in, or encourage people to expand their marker collection.

We look forward to sharing this release with you on Monday."

looks exciting, eh? Unless it completly blows my mind though, I dont intend to buy it, for I am saving up for a pump.

according to the facebook update, there should be actual pictures and information about the marker tomorrow, Monday June 1st. That is, if I'm reading it right. They could mean June first, or they could mean June 8th.

yeah they said check the U.S. army paintball site for pictures tomorrow which means the marker won't be out for another 8 months because tippmann sucks at releasing stuff now.

This also piques my intrest, but I agree, unless it bowls me over I won't buy it. I hope Tippmann's releasing problems were temporary, and it actually is released when they first say it will.

If i remeber right It's not really tippmann's fualt they released the TPX so late, its the pistol players who argued with tippmann the whole way about it.
Im not really excited, unless it'll be based on an automag valve similar to what the TPX has, then i will be.

I'll at least be interested to see it. I don't think I'll actually buy it, but whatever. And which faceBook group is it or whatever? Cause I swear, there are like 30 Tippmann groups and I can't figure it out :/ The one I'm in doesn't have any updates about this, so yeah...

Scratch that, I finally found it. and there are actually 417 search results for Tippmann... couldnt they all just consolidate into 1 group? Like seriously?

Cus its a tippmann, and I doubt there will be anything new in it. It'll still be inline blowback

Hmmm.....that sounds like a Tippmann :P

I cant wait to see what they have devoloped this time. Customizeable, upgradeable, and affoardable? This may be the next best thing or a total bust.

It looks ok but nothing new of course same composite shell. The folding/retractable stock is a cool feature.

No specs released yet but this seems like an alpha black makeover.

Price and specs will maybe hold better news.
