Thank you for discontinuing the color of Mini I wanted.
Sincerely, MC
PS - your dust options are hideous. Even the new fades.

Tell Tyger, I think I stole it from him a couple years ago...
Although, he stole it from some president or something.

That said, upon closer examination, I've noticed the Etek 3 is about to release some new colors. So now the question is AM or LT.

man up and go AM. lol. its only 3 ounces heavier and can take the LCD display upgrade. worth it in the long run. What if you go with the plastic and it snaps. instead of saving $100, you just blew $500.

The plastic won't snap. That's similar to suggesting a polymer pistol frame will snap.

I find it more likely that Tippmann pot cast aluminum will break. Don't laugh, I've seen it happen more than once, under normal operating conditions I may add.

Get whichever one you prefer.

I'm honestly tempted to go with the LT, all things being equal otherwise, I'm not really afraid of breaking the GRN. I'm sure it's sturdy enough, but I'm also the kind of person who would bear the brunt of any clumsiness to preserve my beloved toys. The LCD display doesn't concern me too much, after all, I WAS looking at a Mini before this. And the extra $100 can go towards a 68/4500 with those lighter regs that Crossfire is making.

I believe it was tested and the aluminum grip frames have been shown to bend before the glass reinforced nylon breaks. Most people just like all metal guns (myself included..). I believe it was tested on the Etek 2's.
