Yeah, because price has a lot to do with the sound signiture of a gun.
You might try a carbon fiber barrel, they usually quiet any gun down some.
A stiffi etc...

Higher pressure, lower dwell: better efficiency, louder, less consistent, rough on brittle paint.
Lower pressure, higher dwell: Worse efficiency, quieter (to a point then it goes up in extreme cases), gentler on brittle paint
So you may find that it has been tuned for higher presure, try adjusting the dwell/pressure balance, plus its not like Angels have bad efficiency.
And as far as High Ends not being loud, try being close to some one with an ego (esp an '07)...........

I have. My teammate owns a 2k6 Speed. I would say that it's a bit quieter than a Tippy, but not much.
Freaks barrels do have a lot of porting, btw.
