Yeah, it got quiet for a while. I figure life caught up to most of us in one way or another.

So, what up bros?

It's been so long, I actually had to go through several thoughts to find my login and then reset my password

Initially, I took time off from paintball because I was working a job and going to school at night. My schooling was such that, if I'd been injured while playing, I would have had to drop out, heal, and then try to restart my education. So I dropped and did my schooling. In the mean time, Pegleg Paintball lost their building in Sandy (where I started my PB "career") and moved to Kearns. After that, they just ... vanished. If anyone knows why, that'd be cool to know. Else I'll just chalk it up to a victim of recession. I've been wanting to get back into paintball, but have a few issues:

My current job is 24/7/365, and I don't have set days off or hours. I do things on the fly, or not at all.
I've put on some weight. I was a chunky butt when I was playing, but now... I need to shed some pounds. No, paintball won't help with that like regular diet and exercise, but it'll be fun.
Most places I know are now speedball / air ball. I'm not in a position to play that way right now. Woodsball is more my speed. I am also in the process of introducing a couple friends to paintball, and speed / airball is not what I want to drop them into cold. I figure a couple small scenario / woodsball games would be a good introduction. Hades... that's how I got my MOTHER to play (I started her at Pegleg Paintball).

The urge to get back out and play has been strong as of late. There are a couple fields between my home and my job that I can check out... so.

This is where I'm at now.

Reckon I should post up- I'm still around, still keep up with a few bodies from the forums I met way back in the day, hahaha.

Still play, just getting ready to get my gear squared for the year, actually, new marker and some softgoods.

I'd love to see the forum get back on it's feet, met some great people here.

I check in occasionally. Life changed a lot. I went from living with my father to a house on 11 acres out in the middle of BFE. I had no internet for a while, but now I have satellite as that is the only broadband that is semi reliable. During all that I got married again and now I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. I have had a heck of a time keeping a job, but I am going to school for machining so hopefully that does something for me.

Eth, remember to LNT which became the LNF?

Yes those were good times. Sucks that it died, but it was kind of a niche forum within a niche market.
