Right now I'm at the 4-H Nationals Shooting Sports Invitational. My team and I are in the "Hunting" category where we do multiple disciplines and a bunch of ethical courses. I shot the best of everyone in shotgun today! but there are several more days left so wish me luck!

i don't own any firearms.

...but i've competed in the 2003 Junior Olympic National Championships for 3-position Air Rifle... got 102nd in the nation that year. meh.

(and oh yeah, I have shot most small arms available in the Military, and live in a society ruled by killing machines.... and guns, too.)

I really want to try trap/skeet someday soon. I think I'd be pretty good at it.

Random question here; why can you buy an 870 barrel for $50 less than an actual 870?

Let's see, where to begin:

Ruger 10/22 nickeled with matching scope
Ruger P90 .45
Ruger 22/45 Mark III Hunter (blued, fluted bull barrel, HiViz fiberoptic sights)
Winchester 1300 XTS 20-gauge (pump action shotgun)
Cugir Arms PSL / Dragunov / Romak-3 / SSG-97 / whatever you call these guns

A respectable, well-rounded collection if I do say so myself.

Thanks, it was the cheapest, simplest double barrel, double trigger on the shelf, so I bought it! :ghillie:

I wanted a short Shotgun anyway, for stablity when shooting skeets.

God Bless,
Doc

I'll have to post up pictures of two .22lr target rifles and two .22lr pistols. Oh, and the Beretta M9 milspec that I have too.

This is a photo from a practice day at the local range, testing loads.
This is my competition highpower customized flat top Bushmaster AR-15. The only thing not replaced is the lower receiver and stock that was Bushmaster. Pachmyre grip, Kreiger barrel, custom trigger and front and rear sights. Machined floated hand guard. Fluted bull barrel was added after this photo. A ton more invested in high power paraphernalia.

I shot standing at 200 yard. 300 yard sitting and 600 yard prone. I reload my own .223 competition grade rounds.

My greatest victory 200 - 13x at the 600 yard line. The highest score possible was a 200 with 20x's. The guy to beat was ex-green beret. I won by one X. I shot the x out of that target that day and earned some respect from the hardcore military guys.
