I once tried a fried banana down in Tenn.. it was battered up and deep fried ... tasted ok i guess, but the texture was just not right. It was just that i had never even heard of that so i had to try it ... also had some deep fried oreos .. kinda the same thing, lets just say you wouldn't wanna dip those oreo's in milk.

Boca? My mom likes them since she's on her vegetarian kick, I can tolerate it if there's nothing else handy. Rather have some good 80/20 chuck with garlic salt and pepper.

Morning Star makes some pretty decent ones out of black beans, rice, peppers, onion, etc that I've thrown into tortillas with salsa and cheese to make some quick and easy burritos.

usually get Boar's Head deli meats at the grocery store. Two weeks ago they introducrd two new flavors. Chipotle chicken, which was goos but not very spicy at all. Ate that for a week. This week i got the Jerk Turkey. Holy crap its good....and super spicy, at least for a coldcut. loving it. My new favorite lunch meat to eat at work

The "roach coach" truck that I get lunch from a few days a week makes a sandwich we call a "Tijuana Cheesesteak". Its like a Phillie, but with carne asada meat & queso fresco cheese. Yummy...

We have a Mexican joint that sells something like that for lunch. I could eat my body weight in them.

lately i've been making the lazy tuna sandwich ... not to be confused with the hot tuna melt ..lol

ahem .. anyway, this is really a quick and dirty way to make a sammy, only takes a min or two, but you open a can of tuna, drain it, while you're doing that you pop in a piece of bread in the toaster, and let it start toasting

after draining the tuna you put two big dollops of miracle whip ( or mayo ) into the can of drained tuna and mix it in. about the time you get done with that... the toast is done.. you pull it out, butter it up, slap on the tuna/miracle whip onto it and voila ... the tasty and lazy hot tuna delight ... no fuss no muss and almost no cleanup.
