the name shoudl give it away. an E-Bolt is an electronic Bolt replacement (electropneumatic rear bolt).. the E-grip is an electronic trigger and sear assembly.

Yes E-bolts work on a 98c.

The Ebolt (electro-pneumatic conversion kit) uses a electronic control board that controls a solenoid valve. The solenoid valve operates a pneumatic hammer that opens and closes the valve. After being inactive for 10 minutes the system will go into sleep mode, with an instant awake on the first pull of hte trigger. The Ebolt has the following burst patterns: Response: fires on the pull and the release of the trigger Full Auto: 4 to 13 shots per second Turbo: starts as Semi Auto, goes to response mode as trigger speed increase past 5 times per sec. Burst Mode 1= 3 shot bursts Burst Mode 2= 6 shot bursts.

It'a a lot cheaper to buy a 98 with an E-bolt already installed than buy it seperately.

Also, check model98.org's B/S/T forum section once in a while. And I think this site has them new:

http://canadianpaintball.com/main/access/t...nn/tippmann.htm

(It's at the bottom of the page), however it's quite expensive, and in Canadian dollars.
