If somebody else wants to run the game, I'd like to play as well. :dodgy:

Maybe I should treat myself and just participate in the landings. After that I could get down to business.

Tell you what Mike. I'll stand up on the bank and tell germans they are out, then you can participate! Aren't I a nice guy?

That sounds like a pretty good arrangement! :dodgy:

We'd love to have you on the beach w/ us Mike... no sense in us having all the fun (see: welts).

See, now my problem is that I'm doing 2 events in 2 weeks. The only I can afford to do that is to play pump at both...that said I'm not going to be able to bring the firepower to the beach that I'd like. Hell, my sniper'd Superbolt doesn't even have an autotrigger! I'm thinking I'll be doing nothing but running my butt off trynig to get the beach objectives done...this is really, really, going to hurt.

BTW, we have 10 pre-regged thus far and I'm expecting another 6 or so in the next couple days.

No way Jason, you're playing DP guns like the rest of us, I don't care what it takes. We're going to need our massive firepower to destroy the germans right out of the boats!

I hear ya SN, I've got an event the weekend before as well. Fortunately it's only the afternoon so no more than 3-4 hours of play -- I'll definitely be running w/ limited paint for that just to save for D-Day.

That's if your legs aren't too tired from two weekends of play in a row!

BTW: no one better ever call me "flag runner", I'm getting too old (outta shape more like) to be running that fast w/ a full paintball loadout. Last time I did it, it was a very small CTF game, late afternoon, on Omaha actually. It was like 3 on 4, last game of the day, just to waste some paint -- I made a run for the flag, pulled it & took off for our base while the one guy still in on my side tried to keep the other teams heads down. I almost fell down 3 times in the 120' run back to our flag, gasping & wheezing the whole way. Of course for some reason we were using the full size country flags on a 5' pole, so it's not like the "flag running" we'll have to do at D-Day... but I'm still probably too slow. I'm really good at suppression fire though ;)

Moral of the story: I freaking hate running... but really it's my fault for not exercising (hehe).

Oh don't get me wrong Ger, I'm no track star! With a pump though my carrying load is reduced by over half in terms of weight though so at least for short bursts, I'm good for it, lol.

Oh I get that "heart attack feeling"... but I've never smoked. Come to think of it, that could be bad ;)
