you wont find any in stores. The universal launcher you are looking for was only made in limited numbers a year or two ago. And they sold out promptly within a month or so. Then scepter had some serious production issue and stopped all production of their launchers. So the only spot you can find one now is on a BST board. So you gotta do some searching.

I keep hearing rumors that Scepter will start production of everything again, and really soon. But they keep saying that every month. Hit up www.milsimog.com. Mike from Scepter has his own section. You can ask them there whats going on.

thanks bro i appreciate the tip... I had kind gotten the impression that the company was having some kind of trouble because i really hadn't seen much out of them lately.

i've been on JassePaintball.com's waiting list for over 8months i think for a weaver Scepter., and as u all know am the cpt of one of their sponsored teams
NOw of course this is not Jasse's fault, its just that scepter has stopped everything apperantly, and due to this Jasse, Cops911, USMG, etc have taken the products off of their sites.

Its a shame, i hear way too many good things about the launchers.... kindda makes me wonder what happened? I mean, theres such a demand for them, and they had manufacturing probs???

they had issues with their CNC group. The people they were contracting out to do the work werent able to do it, or do it for the set money, or whatnot. I know it was CNC related that shut it all down. A few months back they said they found a new CNC group to work with. But havent heard anything recently.

I e-mailed secpter several times asking if I could pick up thier launcher from there home base in salem, they just kept telling me to wait for them to become available online and that they were going through some major "restructuring" of their company

It's cool, my review is up on pbreview also. If you wanna see this thing in action, I'll have it at MMG and TWC. I'm bringing a crapload of grenades, so if you wanna shoot it, come find me. I've got a jungle stalker cops vest that has my username on the back.

I think I will eventually buy one

Yes, but I think you would have to shave down the foregrip a bit. I'm not sure on that, but it looks like the foregrip may stick out a bit too far.

You'd need to use a universal mount on a weaver rail, but those were made in limited quantities. If you really want one, you may wanna try PMing Airhog here on the forums as he made the one that I have now.

I got it in a package from him when I bought my scepter. You'll have to ask him.

Guys, Scepter is no longer in business, the only ones you will find now are used from individuals. I had a source that said he had found an overstock in a wharehouse, and he bought them all, a few for the A-5 and a few for the Spider. I am waiting on word back from him as to whether he actually received them or not. If so, those would be the only NIB scepters I have heard of. Its a shame really, they worked so well, and were the only approved launchers for OKD-Day. This year they approved the new one by Tippman, but its quite alot more expensive, and I havent heard if they even work well or not. Hope this helps...

I wonder if you can mod the spyder version to fit on the A-5? The version made for the spyder is probably easier to get right now cuz most likely not as many people got them to put on their spyders.
