Sp-1 help/Problem!!! it feels like air is coming out of the grip area when firing Rate Topic: -----

Robot Mice, you should feel a small puff of air out of the back grip when it is firing, that's the solenoid venting. If your marker is still shooting, you're entirely set.

i just got off the phone with a guy from smart parts and he said exactly what you said Lo. just wondering do any of you guys feel that little "puff" when firing? just carious. anti hero and bobb joe dont scare me like that again =) lol

It did the same thing on my ion when I had it (with the qev)

Lo is right, its simply the solenoid venting, mine does that too.

Another thing you might want to check is the stopper on the end of the bolt. Whenever you put the bolt back inside of the chamber, it rubs against a couple of metal threads and this could lead to a leak there where the oring is. Good to hear you problem is solved. I have an SP-1 and love it. And this is my first legit post at Spec Ops. Whoo Hoo!

ok now i have a new problem and i dont feel like making a new thread. the light for the on off/select fire does not turn on. the rest of the gun works fine thou, just seems unsafe for me to have to guess if it is on or not...

Call up Smart Parts again and ask them what's up with the board. They may send you a new one because that is a safety issue.
