I was thinking it would be a great idea for the gameloacater if there could be a feture called "find a ref" were you could search for a ref in your area to come and ref your outlaw paintball games.

Please post ideas comments Thanks

I dont know..

I dont think a Ref would spend His or Her own time to go to an outlaw game, where they do not get payed.

If I would get nothing out of it i dont think I would go =\

I think that would be AWOME!!!! I would love getting a call from some outlaw guys being asked to ref.

And regarding the above post, I would spend my time and go for free! Its paintball, man! I don't ref for cash. It would be awsome to hang out with paintballers and have a good time for free.

Couldn't the ref just search the game locator and ask if they want a ref?

It's not that hard, is it?

While its a good idea, i must admit i would not pass up my paying ref job to go ref an outlaw game.

I would fall under the fact that my cousin and some friends don't have much of a choice but to play outlawball around here, so I am thinkin of learning rules of reffing and do some reffing in our outlaw games to prevent problems like bonusballing and infractions like that

Where I play/ref, we dont get payed. Most of us are on field sponsored teams whether it be our two speedball teams or our scenario team. All certified. Reffing is a required duty for sponsorship. Which isnt too bad an ideal, as you get a lot of experienced players for ref's.

Anyway, this sounds like an interestig idea, but the only flaw I see is liability. If a ref comes out, he is excepting partial liability on an uninsured field should something happen.

Just my $0.02.

I think you're right about the liability issue, without doubt. It's one thing if you guys are just a bunch of friends, then it's no different than a game of backyard football, or basketball. It is an interesting idea, though. Doesn't PTI do something kinda like that already?
