Hey guys,

I was recently rummaging (sp?) around a buddy of mines garage with him and came across about a year old A5 that has yet to be used. He said if I wanted it it was mine so being the person I am..I took it. My problem is the cyclone feed is disassembled and I'm not sure how it pieces back together so if someone has a link for that that would be great! Also, what do I need to do to get a gun thats been collecting dust for over a year back up and running?

Thanks guys,
-csmith-

Thanks alot. I'm having trouble getting the Ratchet Spring (part 2 on the diagram) seated/fitted to where its supposed to go. If anyone could explain this a bit more it would be of great help.

Do some Youtubing, check out BlackLights guides - http://www.youtube.c...ser/JackRockBLC

Including the cyclone maint:

Also check out the SpecOps odcast videos - particularly the Tim-A tech tips.

An A5 will last virtually forever so dismantle and clean / lube it, reassemble and test it out.

Forum member Jaron did a nice write up a while back. It was so good it got pinned (just above here, but I'll add this just for kicks: LINK). Post 3 is dedicated to the cyclone, w/ good pics of it assembled.

EDIT: Jackrock knows what's up, he's done a ton of great videos like Tommikka linked to.

Right after I posted my most recent reply I got the bright idea to look up at the stickies... ...I've got the cyclone all back together now but when I pump the piston on it it jams. It seems almost like the Ratchet Spring is just coming loose after it cycles. Any ideas?

Make sure you oil the internals up real nice before using it, too. Especially if its been sitting on a dusty shelf for a while. Might want to check the O-rings and seals as well.
Work hard. Play hard.

Haha. Happens all the time. Glad you got things running, good luck w/ the "new" marker.
