I played sunday at a small outlaw game, and i had to call myself out in three games because of extremly foggy goggles. I couldnt see anything at all, and i didntwant to take my goggles of in the middleof a field, with paint flying everywhere. So when i put this game in my brigade post log thing, did i get out 0 times, or 3? I wasnt eliminated per say, but i did haveto leave the game. WHatdo you think.?

any time you leave the field, either it be by taking a hit, or equipment malfunction counts you as being out. You leave the field and can't return so effectively you are eliminating yourself from the field of play.

I like the half out idea. I would recommend upgrading your goggles though.

Yeah because you are calling yourself out. You thinking about fixing that fog problem anytime soon?

I have had exactly this sort of thing happen on my field! I did not enter myself as "eliminated" for my Brigade stats when my fogging was insane (*even through a thermal lens!*), but I think it should have counted as an elim for the other team if elims were being counted (*as opposed to a clean sweep of the OpFor since it was an attack and defend mission*).

My Vents Helix mask with thermal lens is an awesome mask, esp for $40, but in the high humid FL heat, RIGHT after a thunderstorm, it just got overpowered by my breath and lack of air movement:(

Later in that day I applied Spit brand antifog to the lens (*and winced since the owners manual warned against this but hey, whats life without a little risk? Worst that could happen was my lens would get fragged and visibility shot, and I was already there anyhow!*) and it worked like a charm.

From now on, I am just slapping that stuff on my lens prior to any game, its just SO damn humid here in FL!
