we all know whan the 98 gets fed too large paint (ie reballs) the bolt drops foreward, and sometimes it does that without reballs.

what causes this?

then try again
i was getting this problem i cleaned my system all nice and it was fine

Huh? I don't know if i follow what you are saying. But reballs are small bore, much smaller bore then normal PBs, not bigger. So they shouldn't cause a jam at all.

If you are talking the marker not recocking, then like the poster above said, clean and lube marker and try again. If you are low on air fill the tank. Also make sure to cock the marker before airing her up. I used to find with my tippmann if i aired her up before cocking her, she'd often burp and uncock and not recock automatically. Never had the problem if i cocked before airing up.
