Just duracoated this X7 and was wondering what everyone thought. Used the camo-pack colors from duracoat and I think they were way too light. W/e. Tell me what you think and please be honest...

Those colors may be on the light side, but they certainly aren't too light. I think it looks really good personally!
The key, of course, is how well it blends in where you play. :P

I think the colors look really good. Your shapes are a bit off as "sh" wrote (vertical instead of horizontal). But, it also seems you need just a few more dark brown spots & a quite a bit more of the lightest tan over top.

All that said, I still think it looks great. Congrats on the job!

Thanks man, yea i went with the more verticle shapes simply because i like the verticle look better. Just thining practically, everything in nature tends to grown upwards, so i thought the paint should go that way too. Plus i was looking at my multicam acu and the dark brown spots are almost all vertical lines.

Thank goodness you had the sense to leave the rails and accents black! I see way too many people just throw a pattern on the gun-trigger, reg, feedneck, everything.
Great job!
