Im try8ing to build my x7 to look like the FN SCAR but they dont make the buttstock for it but also i think an M249 would be a very goot broadsword marker

I think M249 would be the Hammer weapon. I voted the M16 with the grenade launcher.

Hammers use 2 markers, remember the positions are marketing tools to sell gear, when offered the Hammer was the selling point for the DT. Broadswords are defined as heavy rilfe men, lots of ammo on back and down range, a 249 is the perfect weapon. A rifle like the M-16 is more for medium rifle man.

i voted m-16 with grenade launcher (m203) just because I love the looks of them. i think this would be the real world equivalent of a broadsword, with he m249 being the hammer weapon.
They call me PUNISHMENT. Care to find out why?

Yeah like Punishment said the M16 style with the M203 or even the M4 style with a M203 on it is more like the Broadsword style of weapon that is why I put those two on there because the M249 is a heavier style of machine gun much like the M60 or a minigun which would put a lot of ammo out there for just an all out assault/barrage.

Yeah the grenade launcher would be great for a Broadsword.

Well I've made my A-5 into a true "Heavy Gunner" set up.
M249 SAWS Stock and Ammo Drum (from OpsGear), Flatline with Air America Loudener, Versa-Pod Bi-Pod, Heavy Gunner Grip (BiPod and Grip mounted on a rail on bottom of the Flatline), E-Grip, and APP 330 hopper.

I'm considering putting the OpsGear Heavy Gunner Shroud over it, but I don't know how it will fit with the Flatline, which I am NOT taking off.
I also need to get a new Red Hot Power Tube for it, since I sold the old one to buy new Reloader B shells.

My goal for the A5 was to make it as big and as loud as possible. Since I couldn't make it quiet, I felt this was the best alternative.
My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

Sounds like a good setup. I run with something simular...only with an UMS 98 Flatline modded to fit my A5. With as loud as it is, it draws all the attention on the field to you...and allows your daggers and snipers to do thier job.

Well I ordered today A CAR stock for my A5 and a Remote Line Kit setup the next thing I am going to get is either a new barrel or a night vision scope. The all in all design I am trying to go for is a M4 style with a good scope and foldable bi-pod kinda like what SWAT team members have these days.

since there are two types of support in the military - light and heavy, meaning the caliber of the gun, light would be an m249 and heavy would be an M60 or a M240, i voted m249 for the broadsword because he is a support role but more manuverable than the hammer, basic idea broadsword - light support, hammer - heavy support, both being able to lay down suppressive fire but the broadsword being more manuverable

Yeah the M249 would be best for shredding through the enemy and supressive fire.

Yeah I'd say M249...Hammer is practically armor or artillery...M249 is with a squad, base of fire, light support
