Okay, I've already purchased my first paintball marker. It hasnt even arrived and I'm already looking toward the future. I think I'd like to get the Ion Longbow kit. I guess my question would be whether the kit is really worth the $359.95. Thats a good chunk of change when you really dont know what kind of quality you're getting. How much are extra magazines? Also, is that the lowest price offered for the full kit? Do they ever run specials on the kits? If so, how often?

$359 = full Ion kit with body & stock

or $319 for the QBow kit (No Longbow magazine, and you put on your own QLoader)

Or save money with just the Blackcell body $75 plus the feed and magazine $150

Feed and magazine with a bit of body $180

Spare magazine $35
QBow adaptor $36

Alternate tactical body Deadlywind DT13 at $85 is metal, has BACK OFF BOLT if you are interested, and the old DT12 I have took 'most' Tippmann 98 stocks the new DT13 takes more if not all T98 stocks

For the DT12/DT13 you have to file down part of the rail to align the Longbow receiver.

I have a DT12 with QBow and even with high opstage and import taxes I say its worth it.

You could save money by getting everything separate, but I have an ion longbow and love it. The only thing you need to ask yourself is, do you want more than only 20 shots at a time?

With regards to how much on any parts, just check the website when you're ready to purchase. The price may change, so any answer given in a forum may not be accurate when you're ready to buy.

With regards to how often they run specials, I very seriously doubt they'd publicize this information ahead of time. No company I've ever heard of schedules a sale/special, unless their product is seasonal. I.e. a ski/snowboard outlet in March/April. If the company had regular and publicly announced specials, nobody would buy the product until then, so why have a special at all? Why not just make it lower price? (the answer to that is simply to not schedule sales and because too low of prices means a loss of revenue).

Is it worth it? Only you can answer that. What an item is worth is what somebody will pay for it. So would it be worth it to me? Possibly. I am considering it. Would it be worth it to you? I don't know. Would you be willing to pay that?

one of my friends has the blackcell body kit and he loves it. I have played with it once and it is one of the most B-E-A utiful things i have ever seen. Even though it's expensive, it is worth every penny.

Hi Im new and I have a little question.

Do you get the full kit (http://www.specialop...SEARCH=LONGBOW) if you purchase these two? http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/pr...EARCH=BLACKCELL and http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/pr...;SEARCH=LONGBOW ?

But whats the diffrence between these two?
http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/pr...;SEARCH=LONGBOW
and
http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/pr...;SEARCH=LONGBOW

Thanks!

Hi,
I saw this mod http://forum.lanairgroup.com/Forums/tabid/...46/Default.aspx
What do i need to create this mod , because i'm really considering to get something like this, i couldn't find the parts the dude used on the special ops site.
Is it possible to create with an ION XE or not? Because when i'm buying my marker i want it to be able to be modificated like this one.
Thnx!

the difference is one comes with a sight riser and the other does not. so if you want rails on the top then you should go with the first one. but if you dont care then the second one would be better. totally up to you

all you gotta do is search...

Stock

Body

Q-loader

then all you would need is a sight riser to go above the 90░ elbow for the q-loader if you want to run a sight

and yea....you can convert a regular Ion to an XE

http://www.punishers...parts_2242.aspx about half way down the page

and FYI Kodiak is on this site....im sure u could PM him and ask him any questions u may have

I doubt it. there's no way for it to attach. if you want a stock, youre gonna need a body kit. the only stocks on ions that i have seen are the blackcell ones. I have one and it is great
