Hmm, not sure I like how it leaves so much of the forehead exposed..

Although I just looked again, and it looks like the mask could come up on his face a little. Appears to be sitting a little low.

http://www.propaintb...ng...ton-beach/[/url] ']WDP\Angel Paintball Sports “Angel Eyes” to debut at NPPL Huntington Beach–new goggle system!

ProPaintball.com insiders just forwarded us a teaser from our friends at APS regarding their new paintball goggle system, the “Angel Eyes”.

Our insider sources are noting that this appears to be a collaboration between an outside tactical company and Angel Paintball Sports, as well as a new development that this mask has two lenses–one for each eye (like an actual house-fly).

More to follow as this story unfolds.

It doesn't look like 2 lenses to me.

I noticed the same thing, seems like they changed the design completely.

Thanks for the spy photo ConRad....The chrome lens is very nice!

one of the few things that simply grabed my attention is the lens. The fact that it covers the entire fron...with no frame is big for me. being able to wipe the thing from one side to the other with a micro fiber cloth and not hit a frame creating streaks makes me happy. I hate streaks and buff swirls from tournie paint.

The suspension design on the bridge of the nose and upper cheeks should make it comfy and allow for good air circulation meaning no need for thermals...although I am sure the lens price for replacement will still be around the same price it has been on other masks.

I am excited about this mask due to the look. The new Sly Profits look nice as well...but look like many other options already out there. These Eyes just appeal.

I have found that there is patent application info for an intigrated comm system as well as a fan that is mounted in the mouth area to draw air from the bottom and push it up the face and out the forehead. Brilliant...hot air rises so a small fan with very little power could easily move the hot air out without creating the howling buzz of the old JT Vortex fans!

$100 seems to be the average estimate I have heard so it is on par for masks now as well. I paid $85 for my Avatarssomething like four seasons ago and they are still priced there so I could see spending a Cnote for a good one.

Look foreward to more pics.

Wow, LOTS of forehead exposed!!

I'd definitely want to be wearing something to cover my head if I used those ><

I'm trying to get one of the Specops Mojave caps as literally every time I've gone out I get hit in the top of the head while lying down

QFT - That's what I love about the Profilers, not having an exposed edge frame makes cleanup easy while out in the field.

Speaking of cleanup, all the ridges/crevices would make that thing tough to clean well. You'd want to just dunk the whole thing in water at the end of the day.

My forehead is abnormally tall (IMHO) so I'd have to consider that. I always wear some type of cover anyways, so maybe not that big of a deal.

Do they offer some sort of headshield or visor with it? Even if not, I still want one! I'd like to hear reviews first though of course.

One benefit of the lens going down passed the nose, is you don't have that cut off in vision you get with most masks (basically, you can see where you're walking without looking down).
The guy in the picture is wearing the mask really low (look at the strap sagging). That was taken by one of the guys with Valken (thus why there's a bunch of Valken gear around).

I'm really looking forward to these. As much as I love my Grill, the lenses tend to get scratched easily (maybe if I didn't buy the mirrored ones...). Once I get back to work and start playing more, I'm definitely looking in to these or the Sly Profit...Pro Fit?

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

Yeah, again, seems dangerous for the temples :S ... though I just thought while some have said it'd be a pain to clean that front....maybe it's preventing you from eating so much paint when you take a hit there xD

Egh, getting shot in the forehead... that would be a first for me. yeah i've been clipped close to the hair line, but could you imagine a close-range shot, maybe 20-30 feet, right on the dome, ouch.

I love the looks though. I would invest in something to cover my head i.e. boonie hat, beanie, headband, ball cap, something.

It actually looks like right under his forehead there's a solid part of the frame. I'm wondering why not just mount something that covers his forehead without going over the edge of the lens?

did I die for a second there?...

well, now that I've seen it being worn, it doesn't look nearly as bad. Lack of forehead protection does bother me, lost track of the number of times my profilers visor save my mine. also that giant gaping hole by the mouth is just begging to get shot in.....
