The only downside to playing pump is the lack of equipment options. I have always used dye locklids and was torn between using the 100rd pods that always seem to pop open at the worst possible time or to use my LL's to fill a 100rd hopper and hope that the extra balls didnt break before reloading again. so here is my solution. 100rd lock lid how to

First twist off the black lid part of the pod (yes they do come right off)

next use a dremmel to cut just below the bottom of the lip on the pod that holds the black part of the lid on (marked in blue) then cut just below the 5th row of dimples from the bottom of the pod (also marked in blue)

clean the burs from the top and bottom pieces, also make sure the bottom cut is as strat as you can get it or the pod will not fit together very well causing the lid to lean to the side.

use a good epoxy and run a bead along the inside lip of the top piece (marked in blue)

now slide the bottom inside of the lip on the top and let the glue dry

snap the lid back on and your done

My coach has done that....although we made them into 50 round tubes instead...very nice instructions though...and they really do work great.

A standard hacksaw would work well too.

Nice tutorial.
