Hey yal heres my review/advice/reccomendations of this barrel

This barrel is great...(ya who doesnt know that)

But seriously....ive been into paintball almost 3 yrs....(i know that nothing compared to some but i am no noob)
and ive seen a TON of barrels...from crummy to great...the best (although i have not seen a j&j though)

For any of you guys who like to play 'sniper' this is your barrel (by sniper i meen...the style of play you call sniper)...trying for the one shot kill....why get a stiffi? im an owner of both these barrels (stiffi and boomy)

stiffi's are great dont get me wrong.....but the boomstick is just better

quietess.....dont care what you read....this is quiter than a stiffi (i know i own them in same length and same gun(s))...stiffi by paper should be lighter...but in reality it isnt (which i wasnt happy wit because i bought stiffi for how quiet itd be...id a gotten a bigshot if i had know how not quiet the stifi is)

OK GETTIN AWAY FROM BOOMSTICK HERE....NO MORE BIASED SOUNDING JUNK

i know this is a VERY expensive barrel.....its worth it.

anyone who doesnt try to longball (for a real shot not supression only) shouldnt get this barrel necesairly...i recomend it still but if you can find it used GET IT...

For you snipers this barrel is perfect...
all i hear is internals of the gun...this barrel is quiet!

but...quitness really doesnt play an effect for a sniper if he fires one shot at a time...you cant track it.
Acuracy is #1 why to get it...
honestly try finding someone who has it and try it out...(good settings...no wind...good paint...consistant air set at the best v-locity etc.) <<< this is for just trying it....if you play...jsut get good paint at least and ur good

everyone says any barrel is good if you match barrel to bore....that is deffinetly correct
but it doenst meen that this barrel is just more accurate than others

this barrel will get you a 6-12 in tighter grouping at long ranges which in scenario, woods, speedball alike is alot at that range.

i would start going on about the shots ive nailed (lucky ones ya know) and ones i get all the time....but idc who the source you cant believe it.

just try this barrel out....not 30 shots.....play with it for a day if you can....yu will be hooked....you can getm cheap used (but u might get a scrathvched one)

my frind bought this barrel a yr 1/2 ago....i was like HAHA $130 HA.....i nvr ever got him once on 1v1.(which we played alot)....yes skill is deffintly invovled but we played at such ranges that accuracy was key.

he bought a freak about...2 weeks ago and sold immediatly....the FREAK!....wasnt early as good...

out of 10 this barrel would get an 11 cept its pricey so it gets.........

10/10

for all u snipers get this barrel....fork up the cash(only $40 than a stiffi)....this is the most accurate barrel in the world!

this review might sound biased and unorganized.....i didnt like this barrel until a week ago....sure i knew it was accurate but $130 dont care.....but then i bought it from my frined and could see how its worth every penny....

just test it out....
try long range especially

Just to clarify something here...

Are you saying the Stiffi is not as light as they say it is, or as quiet as they say it is?

If you meant quite I can agree there as I put the two identical barrels head to head myself (see Boomsitck/Stiffi review link in sig) and I know the Stiffi was not as quiet as they stated.

However, if you meant it isn't as light as they stated I beg to differ there. The Stiffi barrel weighs practically the same as the protective plastice tube it comes in (same as most other new barrel tubes out there). The Stiffi is by far the lightest barrel I have ever seen/used personally. Any Carbon Fiber barrel is going to be hard to beat weight wise with a metal barrel honestly...

I just had to clarify that because it was a bit confusing for the reader...

That's what I figured. Just thought I would inquire about it since it could confuse others that may read this review as well.
