Things you should know:
I already have a full academic scholarship.
the money is going to be in a C.D. or whatever, available like a week after the season ends.
our school's baseball is a living hell. practice from right after school til 10. every day. even sunday sometimes. coach is a very angry person who likes to run you.
How does the school allow that? Aren't there laws or whatever that say you have to have time to do homework, study, have a life etc?
We're successful so they look the other way. Homework and studying takes until 12-1 usually. You don't get to have a life. Saturday is practice all day. You have to understand that this is a lot harder than any job that I could get.

i guess if you can get into the mentality where you're on the same level with your coach(or close even) that will help make things easy enough for you to just go through with it. you'll gain experience, respect, and a nice little payout.

YOUVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.
TAKE THE MONEY.
PLAY THE SPORT.
PEOPLE PAY TO DO THIS.
WHY IS THIS HARD??!?!?!?!
easy on the caps man.
I'm the best player on the team. Not bragging, that's what my coach said when I went to talk to him a little bit ago. I've made 1st team all region since I was a sophomore. They respect me and all, but they have the mentality that if one of us did something wrong, we all did.
Also, I never would have dreamed it. He asked if he could bribe me and i was thinking $100 or so. He really really wants me to play apparently.
EDIT: I also wouldn't make this much if I worked during the season. I hate baseball though.
