Looks like a T8 in some aspects, almost a T8 stretched out. one thing I noticed... the mag feed is in the middle of the marker? So the barrel starts in the middle of the marker instead of the end? I kinda want to see how this may affect the accuracy on this thing if that observation is correct. If I would have designed it, I would have turned the mag 180 degrees and had it running along the barrel that way. I like the looks, I just want to hear how it performs.

Oh... if the mag was that way... it would look like any other paintball pistol out there...

did I die for a second there?...

Doesn't look too bad. I agree with Tree, I wanna know about performance.

From what I can tell in the email and what I saw online at a few stores, it looks like basically a PMI USP that's been re-dressed up in BT fashion.

My guess is it's a piranha/spyder clone with full size parts on the inside, magazine is on the top.

And I apologize if my first post seemed a little jerk-ish. i like the looks and all, I do, it's just kind of a functional flaw to shorten the barrel like that.

did I die for a second there?...

Quite a bit cheaper than a Tac 8 though - interesting. Or maybe that's due to Canadian price comparison..? lol

I really like the way it looks. And since its from BT it should perform pretty good. I also like the fact they kept the feedneck system from all their other guns too, you could actually swap mags right out now instead of using 10 rnd tubes, thought the tubes are probably more ideal.

That would be AWESOME....if they put the magazine in the grip.
Seriously, if that was clip fed (Tib8...or more TPX style), I'd buy one right away. I love my Tiberius, but $200+magazines is a lot when I'm trying to get 6 of them.

Sorry BT, missed it by [that] much.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

Does anyone have any experience with the US-P pistol they say that this (SA-17) is based off of? How did the US-P perform? I like the fact that the feed tube can be switched around and that (it appears) that it is a standard feedtube. This being the case, I should be able to put a fifty round hopper on it with no trouble, right?

We've got one in the shop. It's big, like most pistols, little bigger maybe. I'm not sure if you could put a 50rnd on without little trouble, as the fed tube locks into place via that little push-buttom type thing. I could get more answers once I can hold it in my hands. I don't have it on hand at the moment.

Here's an actual review:

It looks pretty good to me. You can reload the magazine with out having to remove it from marker. Put a BT elbow on it and toss on a bigger hopper.

I want to get one.
