1light weight
2clear line of sight( like on a 99c)
3 either fast mechanicle or a elctronic with semi auto and psp ramping

wellllll .. since we're talkin blue sky here ... it should get 2000 shots per 12 gram cartridge that pops out with the flip and click of a button, be lightweight enough that you can carry it and fire in one hand like a pistol ( so you could carry two into a game ), be as quiet as an autococker, can switch between electro and pump, and comes in a multitude of colors and patterns.

Lolz. Not clear line of sight. After a while though, you just get used to seeing "thru" the feedneck.

All i want is a more efficient and a little bit lighter automag. That would be the perfect gun. They already have options up the wazoo for them, if they could just make it more efficient, and possibly a little lighter.

The perfect marker:

1. Is free
2. Has unlimited paint and air
3. Never misses

1. Small & Light --> Less of a target and easier to swing around for those snap-shots
2. Reliable --> Can't play paintball if you're sitting in the pro-shop with your marker in 1,000,000 pieces because another O-ring went
3. Efficient --> I prefer playing two or three games before needing to stop for air
4. Unique --> Ok, so not every gun will be unique but I like the option of customizing its looks so you can:
-A) Tell it apart from everyone else's without the need for ghetto modding
-B) Have a personal feeling of ownership.
5. Out of the box reliability --> I shouldn't be required to upgrade the regulator, bolt, or something else to compete against other markers for accuracy and range.

EDIT:: Wow, we be trollin'... there's like less than 25% serious posts thus far. He wants insight into what you value in a marker not how big your imagination is.

Over the top yea. But the sides have clear line, and since most players tilt their guns to reduce the profile, it's perfectly fine

1. Gets at least two cases per fill (from a 68/4500).
2. Is stupidly quiet. Like, you don't even realize it's shooting when you fire.
3. Is purple.
4. Has a gel/glue dispenser so I can keep my mohawk up when playing.
5. Has a Fox Signal. Press the button and within minutes, Megan Fox arrives.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

while i agree with 1+2, the third is terrible in my opinion. What point is there to play if you can never miss. paintball would quickly become a chore to just remain the best, and lose its appeal.

On a less negative side, i think light, gas efficient and a low profile hopper, along with a lot of customization possibilities make a good marker. the customization is for:

"Ok, so not every gun will be unique but I like the option of customizing its looks so you can:

-B) Have a personal feeling of ownership."

You have unlimited paint. It's not like if you miss, you can't fire another one. You could make up for accuracy with volume alone!
