I started a team on the Spec Ops Brigade when I first joined. The idea was to just have Hammers on the team. I haven't done anything with it so far and now I want to see how many people playing Hammer I can get on the team. Just for fun, post if you're interested and I'll send you an invite to the team through the Brigade. ;)

What about retired Hammers. I have moved to a more costly position in paintball than being a hammer. If you don't think that is possible try running a tank.
Tank drivers are a unique bunch: part motorhead, part airsmith, part driver and part sadist... and not always in equal parts.

Your local field must love you.
If a hammer team were in play at a scenario game you guys would be seriously overpowered. You probably wouldn't see each other much in play though, cause if I was commander I would have you all split up (either a bunch of hammers in one spot or a bunch of hammers spread across the field)

He needs to watch the march of the hammers to see how effective hammers that work together can be.

Retired, wannabees, and current Hammers are fine. Just think of a tank as a Hammer on wheels.

The whole idea of the corp is to organize a bunch of Hammers at some game. We all register for the same team and have the general put us in a spot that needs some heavy firepower; e.g. at the defending end of a D-Day invasion game. Then some of our troops are free to go fight elsewhere while we rip up the attackers. A friend even suggested having someone to carry extra paint for the Hammers, someone who doesn't shoot all that much but can lug around eight or nine extra pods. The best part would be watching the air fill with thousands of rounds (out painting the town) and the opposing team running anywhere but towards us. And since we're at it, we may as well lug around some mines, grenades, and rocket launchers.
