Went to a local pro shop today with my buddy Zack today called Splat attack and he bought quit a bit of stuff. A Dye NT, 2 Rotors, An Ion XE, a pair of I4s and two Pure Energy 4500/50s. We got back to his house and noticed one of the tanks had a pretty big crack and the NT wouldn't shoot. He is taking it back tomorrow, the guy said the spool valves could get gummed up after sitting for a while but well see. Its just funny the Ion was a gift for another one of our friends Danilo and it shot fine. It was was funny to see Danilo shoot the Ion around while Zacks $1500 gun wouldn't fire.

I believe that the gun wouldn't shoot. They probably never cleaned it since they received it. I would take it apart and clean it out completely.

It can get gummed up and bolt stick when new. A lot of times it's board's settings. Dwell too low.

I've never dropped that much cash into paintball all at once. If I had, everything would have been in good working order....or else.

When you buy a car do you just say I want this one and drive it off?

When you buy a tv do you ever see how it looks first or just base it off the pretty box?

I look at the display models first. When buying something like a TV, I don't take the one I buy out of the box, plug it in, and make sure everything works/looks good. Theres a reason theres display models. If I get home and its not working, I take it back to the store.

Testing it at the store would be taking it out of the box throwing in a battery, airing it up, putting on a hopper, and putting some paint through it... I've never ever seen someone do something like that. Maybe looking at the same gun on the wall to see how it feels in their hand... but not testing it in store.
