I'm not so sure what a Spyder Aggressor is, so I don't know how good of a gun it is, but the BT's are definitely worth the money.

They are great guns, reliable, tough, etc. B)

I have had my BT-4 Combat for a year now, and I haven't had to replace anything on it except for one O-ring. It's never let me down. I definitely suggest the Assault, which is just a Combat with upgrades on it. For any BT related questions, feel free to go to their forums here.

BT makes great markers, especially for the price! You won't be disappointed... unless you are expecting tourney gun firepower, but I'm sure you're not. But it can do a good job of keeping up with an e-trigger and a Rip Clip... :ghillie:

No.

It'll perform about the same, while being in a bulkier and more expensive package.

Save your money. If you really want to "upgrade" to a better gun, look at either electropneumatics or high-end mechs (AGD, PPS, higher-end WGP). Tiberius Arms has great guns too, but they're more for the limited paint player.

If you are looking to go mil-sim than go for it. Although if I was going to buy a BT, I would go with the delta or the BT-4 combat and upgrade it with what I want from there.

The BT-4 Assault comes with the M-16 kit on it. If that's what you're looking for then you'll be happy. You can get the base model BT-4 Combat which is the same marker without the kit on it then add the upgrades you want. I'm just telling you this because alot of people don't know you can buy a base model BT without the Mil-Sim kits. If you want a BT but you also want firepower I recommend adding the BT E-grip, the BT Rip-Clip, and HPA. Check out actionvillage.com to see all the BT markers at good prices. Here's video of a BT rippin' out some paint..BT-E grip

There's not a whole lot of things you need to do to a BT-4, just a new barrel, HPA, and maybe an agitated hopper if you shoot fast.

So yes, a BT-4 with upgrades will be cheaper than the Assault or Delta. Those just have a bunch of bolt-on components meant for cosmetic value only. In the end, it's just excess bulk you really didn't need to have.

My brother has a combat and its a pretty nice. Hes never had to fix it(the main reason i got it for him) and it performs well enough for him. If you just want a gun you can go play with and not have to worry about anything than get a BT-4. It doesnt operate very different from your spyder it just wont break down like a spyder will. If you want it to shoot faster an e frame, rip clip, and HPA will definately let you shoot fast enough. Also some people don't like mil sim upgrades, i happen to be one of them, but if you want your gun to look like an m16 then go for it its your gun. Just remember its only for cosmetics, and possibly to scare people.

If you still have any questions, go to http://bt.warrior-online.com. All BT and is the official forums for BT. Soon to be home of the BT Battalion.

Yes some mods on the BT are for show. Being in the military environment for quite some time I'm comfortable with a 13 lb gun. However, Thalion is not correct in all respects. The BT can shoot as fast as some of the fastest tourny markers (up to 30bps), it is more durable than a tourny marker, and with the proper barrel selection shoot further than any tourny gun.

I have a hard time believing it can shoot effectively at 30bps even if it can truly reach that. Tourney markers are just as durable as anything else, they've had their boards coated for years now so a little water isnt a major problem. Everyone shoots the same range, thats what a chronograph is for...
