I have an X7 which is a fine marker, but I prefer the look of the A-5. Don't get me wrong but they have more realistic mods, because they've been around longer.

I'm not particularly fond of either, but between the two I would definitely go with the A-5. For what you pay it's a much more practical design. Internally they are identical, performance wise they are the same. They are capable of the same level of performance. The A-5 is already pretty bulky for an inline blowback, the X-7 us just overkill unless you are going for the military look and feel.

I have fetish for G36's, so I'd go for the X-7. Since a lot of modifications for the A-5 are cross compatible with the X-7, I don't have to worry about having excess legacy parts.

A5 FTW and plus the converting the X7 into an AK47 doesnt look like an AK47 at all.

It all depends on what look you plan to go for. The g36, m4, mp5 look real good to me on the x7. If you like any of those stick with the x7. If not, trade it for a a5.

Well, the X7 is supposed to have upgraded performance as far as the cyclone feed goes. I don't know about the rest of the marker, but the feed system has been upgraded since the production of the A-5. It's still not what it could be straight out of the factory, but hey, they're making progress. Although, on the other hand, you could buy a stock A-5 and all the TechT Cyclone mods for 90 bucks and come out 10 bucks cheaper than the X7. You'd have an edge over the X7 even. So, in my opinion, the A-5 still beats out the X-7, until they drop the retail price to 250 that is.

It honestly depends. I have an X7 because of a mix-up at the store. (worked for me ^^)

I'd recommend the A-5, because it's similar to the X7 for a fraction of the price.

To me the A-5 is the all-around woodsball gun, while the X7 is for serious Mil-Sim fans.

In all Fairness in this Thread, the X7 is basically an A5 with a Milsim Body and an Improved Cyclone and also that the there is a Limited Amount of Upgrade Mods for the X7 compared to the A5, in which the A5 has an Overall Advantage over the X7.

X7 is my choice. It looks way better than the A-5 in my opinion, especially because of the magazine and low profile hopper. The cyclone is also slightly faster and more gas-efficiant (so they say). More upgrades are also sure to come.

If you want a mil sim go with the X-7, otherwise go with the A-5 it has a smaller profile and it does not weigh as much plus with the money you save you could buy a few upgrades.

A-5, more practical, costs less, more bang for your buck.

I have an X-7, man i love it, it has more mods, the e-grip is a thousand times better than the A-5. The response seems to even work better cause of the bigger hose they used. it may be the same on the inside, X-7 kills the A-5

A-5 hands down!

Cheaper, lighter, more mods, easier to clean, multi purpose speed/woods ball.

the X7 just looks pretty. I own an X7 and still prefer the A-5

I would get the A-5 if you don't care about the look that much of the X-7. You could also get a X-7 cyclone and slap it on an A-5. I have owned a X-7, nothing special unless you're going to mod it. I traded it for a Phantom.
