my new TPX (number 27!)

I've never used a pistol before, but carried it as a backup at little woodsball get together over the weekend. I was impressed with the power that came out of that little 12 gram. It worked well til I had a break in the chamber. The paintball shell was more or less impossible to take out without taking the gun apart so it was done for the day.
The internals dont look quite as sturdy as a typical tippmann, but it is a pistol after all... smaller pieces, and a lot of plastic. the o-rings on the co2 fittings break easily if you're not careful. also, the gun came with a white grease, nothing on it about what exactly it was. looks like the silicone grease used with some airsoft stuff. I used it on the powertube where the white residue was visible where it was originally greased at the factory, but i used hoppes # 9 on the rest of the gun. Lots of little parts in this thing, reminds me more of an airsoft gun than a paintball gun. Not quite as bad, but a little more tricky than taking apart your 98. Not for beginners. Some of the plastic pieces look like they will break over time. Too bad the shell couldn't be aluminum.
CO2 runs out after about 18 shots... Fires hard - chrono'd at 290 out of the box, and i left it there for the day. Pictures...

glocks are made of metal... this is made of plastic. if i could get a black annodized one, i would be sold in a second. I actually decieded against it because i found out it was plastic.

I dont think tac8s prices on their mags changed at all there still like 50 bucks a pop
I'm on it like white on rice, with a glass of milk in a snow storm.
Doesn't matter what gun you have, as long as you can hit what you're looking at.

Actually, Glocks have a polymer (read: plastic) frame and magazines.
It's just strong polymer.
I'm on the fence with the TPX as a whole. I'm not particularly fond of Tippmann quality of late, so I'm waiting to see how they do.
