i was also thinking of having connector clips to hold the stock on like a bolt sticking out of both ends of the screw hole or using the thing on the rear sight to hold it on as well. I just don't know where i can get them.(its kinda like that quick relese on the feed elbow...

Wookie, Nice job. I use your tigerstripe method to paint my paintball mask. I'll put up pictures tomorrow when it is fully dry but I substituted brown instead of tan, so I don't know what it really looks like.

Sweet Paint Job! How Much did you have to use to paint that? was it a full 12oz can or something B/c I dont know how much to buy! also is it OK to paint the grip on my 98C? Sweet paint thought! Baumy, That Mask looks SWEET! Im gonna do it to mine after I paint my GUN and LAW!! And does anyone know where I can get some FLAT clear Krylon, ect, ect. Spray Paint? Target? Walmart? Kmart? ECT? Also, how would you do it on an M4/16 Barrel? Would you use smaller pieces of tape, same size, or spread out more?

A regular spray can will give you more than enough paint.
Yes you can paint the grip. Might want to scuff it up a bit with some very fine grit sandpaper to give the paint something to stick to.

Thanks wookie. I did the paintjob a while ago but had no way to post it, but finally here it is. Enjoy. Had a little overspray with the tan but I am unsure how to fix it as I have already clear coated it.

Looks cool. As far as the over spray, you could make female stencil repaint it, and then re-do the clearcoat around that one area.

Overspray happens when you least expect it! I did a S&W Model 99 in urban digi and ended up having a little overspray. Fortunately it was a small amount, and a light dusting...it mostly looks like dirt on the receiver...Oh well. :(
