Finished Magpul's The Art of the Dynamic Pistol.

Highly recommended training material IMO. They cover most anything to get you going, and plenty of drills to take away and work on.

Is this available on the interwebs for a cost of less than money? Cause I want to check it, but I am rather broke for now.
But yeah, wake the sleeping giant and we start putting boots to asses.

So much for my attempt at picking up some .22 LR

I heard on Sunday that said store had ammunition on hand. I arrived yesterday evening and the .22 was picked clean - only .22 LR birdshot or .22 short left.

9mm and .380 were also gone. They had defensive .40 S&W lying around, with plenty of .45 ACP and a lot of wheel gun calibers.

No 5.56, no 7.62x39. Plenty of 5.45x39 (surplus and Hornady), and some x54R.

I'm glad I have some ammunition, and that I have my magazines/guns. But seriously, what's with the .22 shortage?

Who's got two thumbs and is in the NFA wait game? This guy! I ordered a SAS Arbiter Ti, as did my dad, and my brother ordered a Reaper.

My dad set up a trust so my siblings could legally possess and use them when old enough, and now we are waiting on the Form 3 transfers to our SOT.

I am pumped! This is going to be a long 6 months!

You should probably be ready for 8 months.

And good job getting in on the trust thing now, there's talk of changing that somehow.

After a while waiting, just remember, the nfa wait tkme you are in now, is what Dianne Feinstein wants you to go through for EVERY firearm, and it will be YEARS because there's only like 9 people total that approve that stuff. (It may be up to 12 now, but not sure)

The wait times have gotten awful ever since the rumors of making trusts do fingerprints and background checks have started. But they did hire at least 5 new examiners late last year. It really helped, too, because I know a guy who's check was cashed at the end of October, and he received his stamp on the 19th of last month. Of course that has all been offset by the craziness going on, and it seems well past 6 months once again.

Oh, well. Time to forget I ever bought it and get a nice September surprise!

This ammo shortage is making me want to go buy some esoteric caliber just so I can buy the ammunition that is still on the shelves.

.357 Sig, 10mm, something. Or maybe just get another wheel gun so I can shoot a lot of that, since those are still around too.

If there was a 10mm conversion for the XDm, I would have it.

And I would use every last round to shoot anyone making these "FILTERED"ing dumb "FILTERED" "Harlem Shake" videos.
And I would shoot them several times each, in the head. Because I'm rather certain this is Stage 1 of the Zombie apocalypse. After this, we go to 28 Days Later "Rage Virus" after people can't Harlem Shift anymore. Then they get antsy and try to eat each other, all starving for the one last possible logical brain cell.

So before that happens, I'm shooting everyone involved in a Harlem Shimmy video.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

Bastards stole that from me. I invented the South Bronx Seizure 10 years ago. Punks copped my style and renamed it.

Debating a .357 wheelie, a Govt. 45, or a .22 pistol myself. Got about 4-5x more dough this year on my returns than I did last year.

If you're ammo situation at the local gun shop is anything like the one here, the .357 wheelie would be winning hands down.

The .45 would take a 2nd place.

Around here, .22LR Shot Shell and .44 Magnum is all you can find. And it's only a box or two of each.
9mm and 5.56 is impossible.

The bigger retailers have a couple of boxes of most calibers, but not a hell of a lot.

That's better than most places in the nation.
