This has to be one of the greatest markers to snipe with in the world. I realized a few weeks ago that even with the stock barrel that my Phantom is quieter than my Ion. Not only that but it weighs practically nothing, no hopper in the way, and very customizeable. You can even get a carbon fiber barrel kit from CCM or a Dye Ultralite for your Phantom. The only downside I see is they don't make barrel adapters for them due to the pump arm getting in the way, most barrels won't fit anyway. On a scale of 1-10 I put this at an 8 just under the Longbow at a 9. A 10 would be a marker with heat-seeking paintballs...

I go with 20 because I don't want my velocity to drop at all.

i've used a Phantom a few times and i loved it, accuracy was good because you have to hold it the proper way sense it's a pump. but i fell in love with it, and thats why i ordered one and i love it soo much. so light,so accurate,so undectable..

yeah...If I could attach like a 9 oz tank on it, I would take the Phantom right away. I think there may be a way, but I'm not sure. How much is a Stock phantom anyways?

Phantoms are easily adapted to 9 oz tanks. They can have normal ASAs just like anyother gun. go to www.wevopaintball.com for pricing on Phantoms. You can have virtually any air setup imagineable. If you want I can get you full pricing including ASA setup.

I would appreciate that very much, dial-up internet is SLOW.
EDIT:
Wow. I just looked at the website and... Phantoms are NOT cheap.
I know you have Firsthand experience with them headshot, so are they worth the insane price? Those cost more than an ION!
What about when it comes to reliablility? Is it tough?

Only three moving parts. Field strip at home in 2 seconds. Unscrew two thumb screws, the gun falls apart you take all the guts out, clean them, re-oil them, put it back together, tighten screws, and boom. Good as new. Definetly tougher than a Tippmann. Worth the price. These are quieter than my Ion, better consitentcy, and very low profile. The only thing I'd rather have than my Phantom is a Longbow. I'll hook you up. Give me a minute.

You can get the HSC which will allow you to mount a 12 gram changer or a 9oz tank on the back. It will come out of the back of the Phantom and slope down at about a 30 degree angle. That's order number 2011-45-00. I can't remember how Tyger setup his with the ASA. PM him. Also if you don't get a normal ASA mounted tank, buy an adjustable t-stock. Also go with the 45 grips because of the t-stock and you can get different grips on them.

Spartan 043, if your really considering going stock class, sell the Electra..

stock class is fun if you wanna get into it. more freedom of motion, weightless guns "figuratively speaking"

have you played stock class before?

What I'm doing is this: I want to buy a phantom, but I want to have my own pump gun first. So I'm buying a PGP and if I like it, I know I will like my phantom. And if I hate it oh well I wasted $65 and not $350.

Better yet, here's an older pic of my setup.

this was when I got a "Phreak" setup for my Phantom. I've kinda abandoned that for the Lapco barrels, but you can clearly see my airsystem and lines. I use hardline fo rmore of an "oldschool" look, and the vert ASA is fun for 12 grams.

Yeah, HPA on a Phantom. 1 fill, 1 season.

Tyger, almighty one, you must post up your collection of markers in the Gallery sometime. I know you have more markers than i could ever dream...wait scratch that, you have more warp fed markers than i could ever dream, throw in all the others and thats just amazing. Every video i see you put out i swear its a differnt marker. And you always have the best taste. Toss us a bone, we need to see what the Dog has in his arsenal. :(
