I've had a Vibe for a while now and I am looking into getting some upgrades for it. I found the Virtue board and I'm very interested. The only thing is that I've heard that force fed loaders aren't good for the detents. (I would get one to keep up with the 15 bps) Is this true? Do they wear the detents out? Or do they tend to pull them out? I don't mind having to replace the detents every once and a while but not constantly. Any help on this problem would be much apreciated.

P.S. Are there any aftermarket feednecks for the Vibe?

Not sure about the detents but check out trinity for feednecks. I know they make one for the SP-1.

Cool already saw that thanks though. So does anybody know about the hopper problem?

I've never heard anything about force feed hoppers wearing out detents, but i've been using my fasta for a while now and i havent had to replace my detents yet.

The problem with using force fed hoppers with the ball detents in the Vibe is that the the loaders have a tendency to overload the gun and push the balls into the detents to fast and creates friction which can wear down your detents rather quickly. If you use a cheap force fed loaders such as a Fasta loader, Evolution II, or the extreme rage one (can't think of the exact name), you shouldn't have a problem because they max out at about 20 bps loading speed and shouldn't wear the detents out, compared to halos which can reach upper 20's, which is too fast for the Vibe.

Would it be possible to use a Torque or something of that sort with just one battery to decrease the tension?

The amount of batteries shouldn't affect the operating speed. And about the Torque, I personally have no experience with them to tell ya the answer. Pretty much if its a low end force feed hopper it should be fine, its when you get in the high end ones where you might get into trouble.

Yes there is a Virtue for the Vibe, here's a link to one:
http://www.paintball...vismpavibo.html

This board is compatible with both the Vibe and SP-1

The paintball gets pushed past the hopper by the bolt or by the loader. Either way, it's the same amount of friction between the ball and the detent.
