Concept goggles built in radio?

Just a wild thought here...cant believe no one has tried to market this yet.

Would you buy a goggle/mask setup that had built in radio capability?
Ear pieces integrated with the mask ear flaps & a mike wired into the grill...maybe a whole radio system under the visor, or just a port to plug the mask into an existing radio carried in a standard vest pocket.

Is this a good idea, or was I just up too late last night?
I may have to start tinkering with an old mask & a spare radio...

If it was integral I'm fairly certain a lot of scenario players would buy it because I imagine a mic. and earpiece get pretty uncomfortable under a mask.

Yeah, JT was in on this idea early. It simply never took off.

Our team has come down to not even using coms anylonger. We have seen so many probles along the way that we simply stoped with the hastle and started heavier use of hand signals and vocal commands.

I like this but what would happen on a rainy day or if paint got into it?

The radio is keep in a different location on the body...just wrap her in plastic and you are good to go rain and paint be damned.
