Still in my search for the perfect low price gun, i come across the smart parts ion. the price is excellent and i like smart parts, but can it really be that good for the money? lt looks like its plastic.

They're not. The colored stuff is actually a body shell made of composites. There are a few different colors, red, yellow, blue and black and you can change them.

Just for fair warning. My local shop had 3 IONs in the first weekend. In under 1 hour all 3 were non functioning guns. :D

I shot one at the local PB shop, (not for an hour tho) and I was impressed. It seems to be an awful lot of gun for the price. Also I read somewhere that they are developing scenario type parts and more color options. However since they did just come out I think I would wait for the second generation to allow smart parts time to work the bugs out.

dude, i shot one at the begginning of stalingrad @skirmish usa and it rocked, it was incredible
