What do you guys run on your primary machine? I'd like to get a picture of what SOF uses, in number form. If this has been done before, I apologize.
Anyway, I run Windows 7 Ultimate with Mozilla Firefox 3.5.

~ Believe me, dear Sir: there is not in the American states a man who more cordially loves a union with his country than I do. But, by the God that made me, I will cease to exist before I yield to a connection on such terms as the United States Congress proposes; and in this, I think I speak the sentiments of America. ~ Thomas Jefferson (modernized)

At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass. The refill contained the antidote.

I have Windows Vista, but my next pc build is going to run Windows 7. I ran windows 7 on my laptop when my former job got a copy for everyone to use, and it was absolutely phenominal. The Taskbar looks like the one from KDE 4.0 (a linux desktop manager, like the windows "Explorer.exe" process) which is usually on Suse, Fedora and Gentoo. I use Ubuntu usually which runs from GNOME Desktop Manager usually, although I have installed KDE 3.x on it.
Not to sound like a Jehova Witness, but Linux is significantly simpler, I've had many ask me how I get the cube I use, and i used to use that bar that OSX adopted (Yes it was a linux thing first, now in windows as RocketDock, great program, i use it) and I had it.
A lot of the people saying "Linux doesn't do anything" are 100% wrong. I run both Windows and Mac programs on Linux, without effort. Once the drivers are installed, and you have some programs, you basically have to do nothing with programs. Synaptics Package manager has everything you'd need on Ubuntu.
