My Ion i just bought it , a few questions

it turns on by the button above the grip right? i got a new battery in it and its not turning on. any pointers on how to kepp it lasting?

push in the red jewel and hold for about 1.5-2 seconds.

Remove the battery when done playing because the board WILL drain it dead overnight.

I hold the ion upside down when turning them off. I use my thumb. Works for me.

My battery doesnt drain with the battery still in if its off...

That could be a new board feature that I wasn't aware of or had access to.

The stock boards that came in my Ions were originals from a few years ago (yeah...I've had them that long...lol).

i would replace the button too because the stock one is terrible.

The clear power button from an Epiphany (they sell them separately) fits. Just peel off the jewel sticker. Depending on how old your frame is, you might have to widen the power button hole a little bit with a file, but the Epiphany power button drops right in, and is so much easier to use.

Havne't had any problems with my Ion draining my battery power. I guess just make sure however you store your gun, nothing is able to roll over-bounce-or otherwise put pressure on the power button. I dunno....
