LoL I thank you all for the advice. I think ill hit that shop up next week and chat a bit about what I would want or look for. Why does draw length matter? Just to make it shorter overall or is there a purpose behind it? Dude I'm excited. Now I gotta save up for it. XD new hobby...fun hobby...zombie killing hobby. Hopefully I can learn to cock it fast

Nah, Draw length is for regular bows. You just pull crossbow strings back until they lock in place. Then drop a bolt in the groove, aim, and shoot.

I was just mentioning my initial draw length measurement was making it hard to find off the shelf bows in my length, so I was thinking about getting a crossbow first. After getting a proper anchor on my cheekbone, I've got a more normal draw length.

Well...I think once I send the blazer and short n nasty to PPS for a tuning...they will go on the chopping block and ill use the proceeds from that to buy the crossbow. Pick up a new sport. :-D might even buy a bow for the hell of it. I know this place has a league. Would be fun to join. :-D

Had a great work out at the gym today. Every trip there I can see subtle improvements. I'm up 15-20 lbs on each weight machine from where I started. Bit by bit I'm getting stronger. XD now onto the weekend and getting drunk. :-D oh wait that another thread. ;-)

Got my Concealed Handgun Permit (holding the laminated permit in my hand right now!). So that's cool.

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY I GET TO WORK WITH CHEFS JEN CARROLL AND MIKE ISABELLA (Mostly, Jen Carroll!). I'm working for free, starting at Noon on Fri & Sat. And I don't care that I said I'd do it for free, because working with two Top Chef finalists, as well as three other great chefs, is worth a lot more than the few hours my Club job would pay me for.

Also, drunk, fo free. So that just makes everything else more awesome.

My job is to be an asshole. I excel at the position.

When I have no math homework...
When I go paintballing for the day.
Finding other paintballers in my school.
Summer...
I love my Project Salvo.

Recently re-hooked up with this forum a bit and had a nostalgia-gasm looking through some of the old stuff. Good times.
That's my anti-rant for the day.

Ah, it's T-Freak! What's up guy? Yeah I remember that too...those were interesting days.
So how's the forum been in my absence? I'm kinda surprised to see as many old members as I am still lurkin around.
